After a lot of consideration I have decided to put my blogging career behind me. I am not saying forever but just for now. While I love blogging I feel like it takes too much time away from the things that I really need to be doing. I feel like I need to focus more on my novel which always gets put on the back burner because I get writers block and then blog instead. Ryan is also at the age where I want to do more activities with him.
I appreciate all my faithful readers and the people that have made this blog so enjoyable!
My hosting expires on Jan 7th so my blog will only be up until then. Anyone who has an Entrecard waiting to run on my site will be cancelled and points awarded back to them.
Today is Joe’s last day as a Warehouse Manager! Starting on January 5th he will have the title of an Engineer! We are so excited about this! Especially him because this is what he has always wanted to do. He is currently going to school for it but is already a pro at computers and Auto Cad that the other engineers are asking him how to do things!
He will also be traveling. This is something he is so excited about. I am excited about it too but will miss him when he is gone.
Ryan woke up running a 102 degree fever! I got him up and took him to the doctor to find out he has the flu : ( My poor baby! He is so hot and clingy. I love that he wants mommy right now. But you wanna know how much I spent on meds? $108!! They gave him cough med (40), a flu med (40), and then I got children’s Tylenol and Motrin (15ish), and then a whole bunch of pedialyte to keep him hydrated! But it’s totally worth it to get my happy and healthy baby back. This is the first time he has really been sick. I just want him to feel better.
– And I know that I have received more awards which I get to as soon as I can : )
I figured it would be easier to just make a slide show and post it on here. There are some pics of Thanksgiving, the Snow!, Christmas, and some randoms. I hope you enjoy!
Because of Joe being in the hospital I haven’t been able to catch up with all my awards till now. But there are so many people that I passed on the torch to so I ask that everyone go to the awards page to see if you are one of the lucky ones who received an award from me : )
How could Elmo not be at the top of the list? Ryan, like most little ones, LOVES Elmo! He knows how to sing the theme song and gets all excited when he sees him come on tv! And I love all Elmo products! From DVD’s to toys to stuffed animals I love it all!
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! Ours was great! We let the kids open one present Christmas Eve. Then Christmas morning Ryan got up and we let him open a couple gifts before going over to Grandpa and Grandmas to open the rest with his cousins and family!

Summing it all up, friends, I'd say you'll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things:
true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse.
Put into practice what you learned from me, what you heard and saw and realized. Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies.
